Charnwood South Africa are a Cape Town based company and we are proud of our a long standing partnership with A J Wells & Sons Ltd who trade as Charnwood UK. Charnwood are designers and manufacturers of some of the finest wood and multi-fuel heating appliances available in the world today.
Our history
Our relationship with the Charnwood UK family here in South Africa now spans over 25 years. Like A J Wells & Sons, we are a family business with a small but dedicated team and our warehouse is based in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town, South Africa.
Our mission
As representatives of this prestigious brand, we at Charnwood South Africa take our responsibility to provide personal and expert advice to our South African customers very seriously. Because we are the importers/distributors, we do not retail our stoves direct to the public but through our network of independent retailers throughout South Africa (click here for info). However, we are always happy to provide technical expertise to you, the end user so feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding the Charnwood range of heaters for your fireplace.
In addition to our technical support, Charnwood South Africa believe in supporting local South Africans by pricing Charnwood stoves as competitively as possible, to make them as accessible to our South African customers as possible. Unlike other imported brands which inflate prices in comparison to the country of origin, most products in our range cost the South African consumer LESS than in the UK (the country of origin).
